West Brom a possible destination for Zaha

West Brom have jumped ahead of Newcastle United in the race to sign Manchester United starlet Wilfried Zaha on loan.Reports from England say that the former Crystal Palace winger has reservations about moving to Newcastle United which has enabled West Brom to move ahead in the race for getting the player on loan.

Since moving to The Red Devils, Zaha has struggled to force his way into the United team and has appeared only twice for the current Premier League champions. Moyes is said to be wiling to send Zaha on loan in order for him to get more game time.

There have been rumours of him having an affair with United boss Moyes’ daughter which had lead to the player being kept out of games. But Zaha has recently come out in a bid to stop all the rumours.

“I would like to stop all these false accusations .. I will play for Manchester United when my manager feels I’m ready …,” he tweeted.

“I’ve never dated or even met David moye’s Daughter so that isn’t the reason for my absence in games.”

Despite the player struggling to get game time, United coach Phil Neville believes that Zaha is a diamond and that it is common for players to struggle when they arrive at the Old Trafford.

In an interview to The Guardian, Neville said,”Wilf is a diamond. People say: ‘Why is he not playing?’ But we’re seeing the same with Marouane Fellaini and we’ve seen it with Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra in the past.

“The first six months… forget the games, just being a Manchester United footballer, the intensity of training, the expectation, it’s really hard. It blows you away.”

Zaha will hope to become a regular at Old Trafford in the near future as predicted by his coach.
