According to Don Balon, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to flex the club's muscles in the transfer market next summer and has begun planning a €300 million attacking overhaul. Don Balon reports that Real Madrid are set to offload Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale next season and bring in Paulo Dybala and Antoine Griezmann to replace the current duo. Both the mentioned players will be looking for a move next summer and hence Perez believes that next summer is the right time to bring back the Galacticos era.

FC Barcelona failed to reach the asking price for Angel Di Maria

L'equipe has claimed that the Catalans were in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain for the acquisition of Angel Di Maria. Barcelona had reportedly made an offer of €45 million plus add-ons for the Argentine winger but the Parisians were adamant in their valuation of €60 million. The deal broke down soon enough as both the clubs could not agree on a fee which was agreeable to both.

Paulo Dybala refuses to rule out a move to FC Barcelona

Several reports have said about the Catalans being interested in uniting the Argentine duo of Paulo Dybala and Lionel Messi at Camp Nou. When asked about FC Barcelona's interest in him, Dybala refused to rule out a move to Spain but also said that he is happy at Juventus. Dybala said in a press conference, "He's already my team-mate for Argentina but I'm really good at Juventus, although I don't know what's going to happen in the future."

Three way battle for Stefan De Vrij

Liverpool have long been linked with a move for Dutch centre back, Stefan De Vrij. The Lazio defender will be out of contract next June and according to sources, talks over an extension are currently stalled. Jurgen Klopp is keen on taking the defender on board next season but the Reds are not the only club interested in the Dutchman. Calciomercato reports that Juventus and Inter Milan are also monitoring De Vrij's situation and are looking to tie him up before Liverpool.

Julian Nagelsmann reveals his dream club

TSG Hoffenheim manager, Julian Nagelsmann has revealed that Bayern Munich is his dream club as he hopes to return to his local club very soon. In an interview with Eurosport, Nagelsmann said, "My wife and child will shortly move to Munich where we have family ties and are having a house built. It's our home. Bayern has always played a prominent role in my dreams. I lived in Munich for many years and come from Landsberg am Lech (in Bavaria)."

He is employed with us as a football player and earns a lot of money. I regret what he said."

Atletico Madrid close in on Diego Costa

The estranged Chelsea striker, Diego Costa might finally get his way with Marca reporting that Atletico Madrid and Chelsea are close in their negotiations for the Spaniard. The reported fee is close to £50 million which is what Chelsea were demanding for the 28-year-old. Atletico had sent a delegation to London earlier this week in order to put an end to this far stretched transfer saga. But Costa will not get to appear for the Colchoneros until January when the club's transfer ban is lifted.

Virgil van Dijk makes his return for Southampton U23s

After a long drawn transfer battle which saw the club and the player at loggerheads, Virgil van Dijk has returned to first team training and yesterday played his first competitive match in over three months. He played the full 90 minutes in Southampton U23's 4-0 loss to Aston Villa at Walsall's Bescot Stadium. Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino is keen on integrating the centre-back as soon as possible with the Saints currently struggling under their new manager.

Despite signing Neymar for a world record fee of £198 million and taking Kylian Mbappe on loan with an agreement to sign him next season for £168 million, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi believes that his club has not broken any rule regarding FFP. He told the Daily Telegraph, "We have a year to meet FFP criteria. We have until 30 June 2018. So I tell everybody, relax and think about your project."

Manchester City target MLS sensation

According to the Daily Mirror, Pep Guardiola is keen on signing highly rated 20-year-old MLS defender, Erik Palmer-Brown in January. City are eager to sign Palmer-Brown and then loan him to his current club, Sporting Kansas until the end of the current Premier League season. The teenager is a highly rated defender and has been linked with Juventus in the past. The USA U-20 international has also spent a short stint with FC Porto on loan.
