It is common knowledge to any football fan that Pepe is one of the most aggressive players in the world. The Portuguese centre-back is definitely not the most patient defender and has a habit of attempting malicious challenges, which have gotten him into trouble throughout his career.
Surely his team-mates know about this, so it was baffling to see them nominate the former Porto centre-half as one of the defenders during a ‘rondo’ possession game in training.
Even Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t escape the wrath of Pepe despite being his international team-mate, as the defender appeared to stamp the forward’s leg, leaving him on the turf in pain. He followed it with up with a brilliant half-baked attempt at an apology before going back to his business as usual.
The Real Madrid team are currently undergoing their pre-season in Australia, ahead of the 2015/16 La Liga season. Los Blancos begin their league campaign with an away fixture at Sporting Gijon on August 23.
