Chapter 2 Season 5 was one of the best Fortnite seasons for those who love collaborations. Epic Games brought a lot of new characters to Fortnite Battle Royale, and many of them were gaming legends.

This is the season that brought Kratos to the Item Shop. The popular character from the God of War series was released in two different styles, with the second style being exclusive to PlayStation 5 users.

Unfortunately, it appears that Kratos will not return to Fortnite Battle Royale anytime soon.

As shown in the video above, Sony clearly stated that Kratos is a limited-time Fortnite skin. It was supposed to leave the Item Shop for good on January 8, but Epic Games also released it on March 19, 2021. However, the skin hasn't been out since then.

Many players expected Kratos to return to the Item Shop on Wednesday, November 9. On this date, Sony released God of War Ragnarok, a new video game in the popular series. Once again, Kratos is the lead character in the game.

Despite this being a worldwide release of the game that came out on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, the Fortnite skin did not return to the Item Shop. Due to this, it is unlikely that Kratos will be re-released soon, if ever.
