The current season of Fortnite Chapter 4 is ending soon, and Epic Games has released the final major update for this period today. The patch includes some noteworthy modifications to the game.

The v23.50 update marked the end of the Most Wanted event, which reintroduced a selection of vaulted weapons from previous chapters and allowed players to take on bosses and henchmen once more.

Completing this special questline rewarded participants with INFAMY points that could be used to unlock exclusive rewards, such as the Gold Blooded Ace skin and Solid Skull Back Bling.

The event has ended, and the weapons associated with it have been removed. Although they have had a huge impact on gameplay in recent weeks, players are somewhat displeased that they are being vaulted.

That said, here are the 11 fan-favorite weapons that Epic is vaulting ahead of Chapter 4 Season 2 with its latest v23.50 update.

Latest Fortnite update vaults Heavy Sniper, Heisted Exotics, and more ahead of Chapter 4 Season 2

Fortnite v23.50 is introducing a range of new quests and items to aid players in transitioning to the upcoming season beginning March 8, 2023. Additionally, this update will vault weapons made available during the Most Wanted event.

At the event, some classic Fortnite weapons such as the Hand Cannon, Heavy Sniper, Dual Pistols, Suppressed Pistol, Hop Rock Dualies, and Boom Sniper were brought back. Additionally, new Heisted Exotics were added to the loot pool in Chapter 4, Season 1, providing power-ups to unvaulted weapons.

Players got their hands on various exotic weapons, such as the Explosive Red Eye Assault Rifle, Breacher Heavy Shotgun, Accelerant Shotgun, Run N Gun SMG, and the Blink Mag SMG. These items could be acquired from vaults and Cold Blooded Bosses, or Special Augments like Exotic Grab Bag.

Players will have to alter their playing style as the weapons are returned to the vault. This update also brings the last set of Oathbound Quests to reveal what happened to Rift Warden Stellan and the Rift Gate before the season ends.

Rumors of a special set of Cipher quests have been circulating, which will reward players with extra goodies upon completion. However, it isn't known for sure until the game launches in a few hours. Loopers can take on the last set of quests before the season ends.

Players eagerly await the next Fortnite season, with no news of a special live event to mark the transition. Nonetheless, they remain hopeful that something exciting will be revealed in the game's lore.
