Jon Rahm is not having a pleasant time at the 2023 PGA Championship. The pressure of the difficult course is now showing, and he is unfortunately bearing the brunt of it. The Oak Hill Country Club course has not been a particularly easy one to manage, and the rain is making it all the harder to play.

Jon Rahm is halfway through round three, and he has had enough of the media filming his poor play for the day. With things not going his way, Rahm is having a tough time keeping his composure. At the seventh hole, Rahm finally cracked under pressure.

As cameras were filming his meltdown over the less-than-average day he was having, Jon Rahm could not handle the attention anymore. Speaking to the cameras, he said:

“Stop aiming at my face when I’m mad.. it’s all you guys do.”

A frustrated Rahm could not do much more but walk away sadly and move on to complete the rest of the round.

This is not the first burst of anger that Rahm has had at the PGA Championship. The fifth hole of the third round saw Rahm's ball go farther away from the hole than he thought. This led him to smash his golf club into the microphone nearby, leaving spectators in shock.

He also lost his temper at the 11th hole during the second round. His long iron shot, despite landing in the green, skipped past on the back edge.

Rahm's raw reaction was caught on the hot mic, and it was less than pleasant:

“Great hole, PGA. Great f-ing hole."

After entering the championship as a favorite to win, Rahm's hopes were quickly dashed after he carded a 76 in the first round, with a six over par. While he did score a 68 in the second round, winning seems almost unlikely.

Scottie Scheffler, Corey Conners, and Viktor Hovland currently hold the lead going into the third round of the PGA Championship. With only a handful of golfers managing to stay under par on the difficult course, the unpredictable conditions mean that the win is open to anyone.
