Despite its immense popularity, the Grotti Carbonizzare became one of the cars that was removed from GTA 5 Online after the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC. The community heavily criticized Rockstar Games for this decision as many players still prefer using the Carbonizzare as a commute vehicle. Nonetheless, it is no longer available for regular purchase.

However, the most recent weekly update in Grand Theft Auto 5 Online temporarily brought the car back to the in-game stores. You can currently purchase it from Simeon Yeterian’s Premium Deluxe Motorsport Showroom. However, it is a limited-time offer and will only last until May 1, 2024, following which you’ll not be able to buy the car as a personal vehicle.

2) It is returning in Grand Theft Auto 6

While the car’s removal upset several fans, Grotti Carbonizzare is returning in Grand Theft Auto 6. It was spotted in the Ocean Drive scene of the first official trailer, parked in front of the Grotti Cheetah Classic. While there were many cars at the scene, fans were quick to spot the Grotti Carbonizzare.

As of now, the Carbonizzare is confirmed to be an NPC car in Grand Theft Auto 6 Story Mode. However, it is important to note that Rockstar Games may have used it as a placeholder, and the car may not be included in the rumored GTA 6 Online version. Nonetheless, fans are optimistic.

3) One of the fastest free-roam cars

The Grotti Carbonizzare is one of the fastest free-roam cars that you can acquire after the latest GTA Online weekly update. Whether you buy it from the Premium Deluxe Motorsport Showroom or steal it from the streets, Rockstar Games will allow you to customize its performance output either way.

A fully customized Carbonizzare can reach a top speed of 119.50 mph or 192.32 km/h, which is quite impressive for a vehicle from 2013. However, keep in mind that if you steal it from the streets, you’ll not be able to acquire a license for the vehicle.

4) Spawn locations

Even if you missed the one-week buying window for the Grotti Carbonizzare, you can still steal it from various locations on the map of Grand Theft Auto 5 Online. According to GTA Wiki, these are locations where you can usually find the Grotti Carbonizzare:

  • Galileo Observatory
  • Marlowe Drive in Vinewood Hills
  • Rockford Hills
  • Vinewood Racetrack

As is customary, you’ll not be able to obtain a license for the car, unless you do it before May 1, 2024. Acquiring the license is important, as many missions in GTA Online despawn NPC vehicles as soon as you are away from them.

5) Great for commuting

The Carbonizzare is one of the best free-roam cars in Grand Theft Auto 5 Online in 2024. It features one of the most soothing exhaust notes that is no less than ASMR. Players can frequently be seen taking the car for a long drive around the map.

Although it features a hard-top roof, you can fold and unfold it as you wish. A roofless Carbonizzare looks more stunning, but it certainly affects the aerodynamics of the vehicle. Nonetheless, it is great for mindless commuting and sightseeing.
