Since GTA 6 is almost on the horizon, there are several facets fans expect the upcoming title to incorporate. Rockstar Games has produced some amazing games over the years, and the Grand Theft Auto franchise is a prime example. The community wants the studio to take inspiration from some of the previous titles to ensure that Grand Theft Auto 6 surpasses its predecessors.

Some of the previous entries have amazing features or gameplay mechanics that set them apart. GTA 6 would greatly benefit from further polishing and implementing them. So, this article will list five things that Rockstar games should bring back.

5 things from previous games that GTA 6 should include

1) Fast-paced gameplay from Grand Theft Auto 5

One of the most important features that fans want from GTA 6 is fast-paced gameplay. It is necessary to keep a good pace. Otherwise, the missions feel stretched out and banal.

Grand Theft Auto 5 was able to handle this quite well. Players could immediately start a chase or get into firefights. While the overall mission structure was linear, the fighting was quite satisfactory. This is one of the reasons why the title is still relevant to this date.

2) Utilizing features that affect the gameplay

There are tons of facets across the Grand Theft Auto series that are quite fun to use or exploit. However, some of the best features emerge in GTA San Andreas, where they actively affect the gameplay. The most notable is the ability to change the body type of the protagonist.

CJ starts with a balanced body structure, but players can go to the gym and become muscular or eat too much food and gain weight. Upon choosing the latter, they will fail certain missions where CJ cannot keep up with the target. This was quite fascinating, and GTA 6 should have a similar feature.

3) Including a dark and gritty theme

One of the reasons why GTA 4 is one of the most realistic entries in the series is its main plot. The story is not all sunshine and rainbows but quite the opposite. Niko Bellic, a war veteran seeking a good life, gets mixed up with the mafia and faces many hardships.

Fans want Grand Theft Auto 6 to have a gritty story that tugs at their heartstrings and does not shy away from showing the protagonists' suffering. This would add more substance and depth to the plot. However, it would be to find a perfect balance.

4) Option to have fun outside missions

GTA Vice City is one of the best examples of a video game where players can discard the missions and spend time trying to jump the farthest with their motorcycles. The game boasts tons of locations that should appear in GTA 6 and have been a source of joy.

The Rampage missions were unexpectedly gory and fun, where the goal was to spread senseless bloodshed and chaos. However, it gave Vice City a different vibe than other entries. Grand Theft Auto 6 should also have these types of locations and features where the goal is to have unbridled fun.

5) A single-player campaign-focused game also sells

While GTA 5 was good, the fun was cut short as Rockstar Games wanted to prioritize its online multiplayer mode. The leaked source code revealed the canceled DLCs for the single-player campaign, which caused an uproar in the community.

On the other hand, previous titles like Grand Theft Auto 4, San Andreas, and Vice City were focused on the campaign mode and boasted excellent stories that were both spectacular and profound. Hence, fans want the studio to prioritize the single-player mode before shifting to online multiplayer.

So, these are some facets that, if implemented, will make Grand Theft Auto 6 an even better title than what Rockstar Games has promised.
