GTA Online Ghosts Exposed: Everything you need to know

Ghosts Exposed is an interesting seasonal collectible event in GTA Online where you must take pictures of 10 different specters. It started on October 12, 2023, and has an unknown end date at the moment. What is important to note is that you can get some good money and other rewards for participating in this Halloween 2023 event.

Note that Ghosts Exposed will likely only last for the rest of October and perhaps early November. It is not a permanent event, as it's obviously intended for the Halloween season.

Ghosts Exposed was introduced in the October 12 GTA Online weekly update. The map above shows all possible locations for the 10 phantoms you photograph in the event. All the specters except the final one have two areas you can find them in, which are often near each other.

Once you find them, you just use Snapmatic to take a photo and then send it for that snapshot to count. Each spirit will only be around for an hour. There are specific times to keep in mind regarding when they'll be active.

The map above should serve as a good infographic about how you could photograph nine of the 10 apparitions in a single day. Wait for a day and snapshot Johnny Klebitz to finish up this event. Note that the numbers listed in the parentheses indicate the military time used in GTA Online.

For example, 22 would be 10 pm. If you want to get around the map quickly, it's recommended that you have a good aircraft. The Oppressor Mk II, Deluxo, and any helicopter or plane are examples of what you can use for convenience.

Remember, the GTA Online Ghosts Exposed event is just one of many Halloween activities this year. You may bump into a few others like Possessed Animals, Phantom Cars, or even the Halloween Slashers since many of their areas overlap with what's shown above.

Rewards

Each photo you take of the spirits will give you $20,000 and 500 RP. Snapshotting all 10 will give you a bonus $50,000. Thus, the total rewards are:

• $250,000
• 5,000 RP
• Ghosts Exposed livery for the Albany Brigham

This may be the only opportunity to get this unique livery for the Albany Brigham, so some GTA Online players may wish to take advantage of it while the event is still around. Photographing all the ghosts is a pretty easy way to make $250,000, especially for a beginner with not many other alternative moneymakers available.

Note that Johnny Klebitz is only available after the other nine ghosts have their photos taken and sent to the Ghosts Exposed group. Astute GTA Online players should recognize that he's located in the same spot he was in nearly a decade ago in Grand Theft Auto 5.
