GTA 5 was reportedly one of the most-downloaded PS5 games in both US and EU last month

While many in the gaming community are eagerly waiting for Rockstar’s next big game, GTA 5 still holds its place as one of the most-played games on the PS5. According to a new blog post by PlayStation Blog, GTA 5 was one of the five most downloaded games last month in both the US and EU regions. Considering that the game was released almost a decade ago, it is extremely impressive to see it continue topping the top charts in 2023.

Many PS4 players also downloaded the game last month, so this also helped position the game in the top 10. It should be noted that many gamers only play Grand Theft Auto Online and not the story mode counterpart. However, it still contributes to the latter’s downloads since they are offered as a bundle.

As can be seen above, PlayStation shared the download report for April 2023, and GTA 5 was among the top five digitally-downloaded games on PS5 from the PlayStation Store.
