Halloween celebrations are in full force in GTA Online, and with the most recent weekly update, Rockstar Games has released a bunch of new freemode events to spook players. All of these freemode events are Halloween-themed, and you have to be on the streets to spawn them. Although there are a few conditions to trigger the events, Rockstar Games surprises players when they are less cautious.

5) Phantom Car

The Phantom Car is one of the most popular freemode events that only arrive during the Halloween season. After the latest GTA Online weekly update, you are most likely to encounter it while on the streets on foot or in a normal car. At night, the Phantom Car with randomly appear near you with a spooky sound effect.

If you remain inside a car, the Phantom Car will simply stalk and follow you. However, as soon as you step outside your vehicle, the ghost car will automatically catch fire and move toward you to kill you. The Phantom Car is difficult to destroy, but you can troll it with some agile moves.

4) Cerberus Surprise

The Cerberus Surprise is one of the scariest freemode events in GTA Online. It is related to the Exotic Exports mission but has a spooky element. Rockstar Games will alert you about delivering an exotic vehicle to the docks. However, a driverless Apocalypse Cerberus truck can be spotted nearby facing the vehicle.

As soon as you step inside the vehicle, the truck will move toward you at full speed. Your goal is to deliver the exotic car to its destination while the Cerberus constantly tries to kill you. The truck can randomly spawn in front or behind you and throw you out of the streets. It is also one of the most challenging GTA Online Halloween events.

3) UFO sightseeing

Grand Theft Auto lore has featured UFOs as mystery objects for ages. However, the UFO sightseeing random event brings them to the forefront. After the latest update in GTA Online, you can spot UFOs in the skies of Los Santos and Blaine County during the night.

The UFOs spawn at random locations daily. Every time you see one, click a photo of it with the in-game mobile phone and send it to Omega. By doing so, you can earn $15,000 and 1000 RP every day. Rockstar Games will also provide you with additional rewards if you play this event regularly.

2) Possessed Animals

Possessed Animals is one of the newest random events in GTA Online. As the name implies, it will spawn possessed animals that will try to kill you. While the multiplayer game does not have any animals in free roam, Rockstar Games has added pugs, coyotes, boars, deers, and mountain lions for the Halloween event.

The possessed animals are stronger than regular animals and will chase you for five minutes. You must kill them or dodge their attacks. This new GTA Online Halloween event makes roaming in the night very scary. However, many fans want similar events in Grand Theft Auto 6 as well.

1) Ghosts Exposed event

Ghosts Exposed is a new ghost hunt event where you can spot ghosts of various known and unknown NPCs at night. Once you see any of them, you must photograph them and send them to the Ghosts Exposed contact. Rockstar Games added 10 ghosts in the game that can be photographed.

However, you must be near the GTA 5 Ghosts locations to trigger the event. Each photograph rewards you with $20,000. You must find them all to win an additional $250,000 and 5000 RP. Rockstar Games will also offer you the Ghosts Exposed Livery for the new Albany Brigham car.
