A Halloween Slasher identical to your character's appearance has a 50% chance of spawning in any of the above locations. It is worth mentioning that this Random Event can only be generated between 1 am and 6 am, and is only available during the Halloween season. Notes about Halloween Slashers in GTA Online

These Random Events won't spawn for everybody. Here are some caveats you must know before looking for them:

• Trigger cooldown: A lobby must be 16 minutes old for one of these Random Events to start.
• Note about locations: The assailants never spawn inside buildings.
• How to find these foes: You must be on foot or in a regular, non-weaponized vehicle within one of the designated areas.
• Availability: These assailants will be around for 20 minutes once generated.

Halloween Slashers have far more health than the average NPC, even being capable of taking multiple headshots. Once you see them in the overworld, they will slowly approach you before engaging with melee attacks. They are not difficult to beat, and there aren't any rewards for defeating them.

The primary purpose of this Random Event is to add a little bit of thrill to a player's time during this spooky season. You can easily avoid these foes if you don't want to deal with them.

For example, Possessed Animals can attack the player in the northern countryside. The Halloween update also has Phantom Cars and a Cerberus that can pose a threat to you during this spooky season.
