Henry Cejudo weighed in on the highly anticipated trilogy fight between Kamaru Usman and welterweight champion Leon Edwards which is set to headline UFC 286.

Cejudo uploaded a video to his YouTube channel, where he gave his prediction for tonight's main event. He mentioned that Usman has a lot of adjustments he can make and highlighted areas where he can be effective:

"I do believe Kamaru Usman. He does a really good job of faking everything that he is doing to eventually going for takedowns or he'll fake-fake and he's throwing that heavy right hand." [0:16 - 0:27]

'Triple C' added that 'The Nigerian Nightmare' has an advantage as it pertains to his wrestling, which he can utilize against 'Rocky.' He mentioned that the former champion has a chip on his shoulder from the loss, which is why he believes that he will regain the welterweight championship, saying:

"There's one thing that's really really hard to stop when you have this tenacious wrestler that's just going to keep you against the cage and continue to keep wrestling. And guess what, Kamaru Usman has that chip on his shoulder. I have to go with Kamaru Usman, 'The Nigerian Nightmare' winning by decision." [0:28 - 0:46]

It will be interesting to see whether Cejudo's prediction of a decision win for Usman will come to fruition. Leon Edwards will likely be more confident, especially considering that he knows he is capable of finishing the former champion.

Henry Cejudo recently shared his thoughts on Kamaru Usman's mindset as he prepares to compete in his trilogy fight with Leon Edwards.

'Triple C' uploaded a video to his YouTube channel, where himself and former UFC title challenger Chael Sonnen analyzed Usman's approach to his upcoming fight with Edwards. He compared 'The Nigerian Nightmare's mindset to his own experiences and mentioned that it took him a while before he was comfortable.

He said:

"I remember getting concussed and getting hit at one time. I was scared, Chael, I was scared to get hit for at least six months. I remember just having like overtwitching almost to the point where it took so much time for me to [be] comfortable again, to be myself once again." [2:48 - 3:04]

It will be interesting to see whether 'The Nigerian Nightmare' is more hesitant during striking exchanges with 'Rocky' or if he attempts takedowns immediately.
