Dominance MMA CEO Ali Abdelaziz strongly feels that there is no truth to Mike Jackson's "racist" accusations against former Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields.

Shields and Jackson recently got into a physical altercation at the UFC Performance Institute (PI). Mike Jackson's constant Twitter jabs accusing Shields of being a "racist" and "Nazi" is what led to the unpleasantries.

In the wake of the recent incident at the PI, Abdelaziz shared that he knows Shields to be an honorable man. The 45-year-old added that it was "very sad" to see the fighter getting unfairly accused of being a racist:

"I managed@jakeshieldsajj for the last part of his career, and I’m an African Muslim Arab, he has been nothing but amazing to me and honorable, for anyone to say he racist or label him like this is very sad. I hope we stop calling each other names, because we all bleed the same."

Since the incident, Jackson revealed that he is going to press assault charges against Jake Shields. However, the Dominance MMA CEO wants the duo to solve the issue without the police getting involved:

"I hope Jake and Mike shake hands, the police doesn’t need to be involved in this, because when we say something we have to own it, I hope both men can find [peace] and shake hands."

Michael Bisping defends Jake Shields on the UFC PI incident

During a recent episode of Michael Bisping's Believe You Me podcast, the former middleweight champion opined that Jake Shields can't be faulted for his physical altercation with Mike Jackson.

'The Count' stated that despite the American harboring a few opinions that might come off as controversial, he is far from a racist or a Nazi:

"I mean you can't blame Jake, to be honest... I mean he has his views... He is not for the vaccines, he feels there was an overreaction with COVID... Everyone is entitled to their own opinions... He is not a Nazi, he is certainly not a racist. I've known Jake for a long time."

The 43-year-old added that what Jake Shields is very good at is grappling, which Jackson found out the hard way:

"He is good at jiu-jitsu is what Mike [Jackson] found out very very quick... and it is pretty embarrassing for Mike [Jackosn] as a grown fighter to be asking other people in the room - can you get him off me... can you help?"
