Ariel Helwani reacted to a recent viral video of Dana White and his wife getting into an altercation at a nightclub. On January 2nd, TMZ released a video of the UFC president and his wife getting into an altercation at a club on New Year's. In the video, you can clearly see White's wife slapping him, and the UFC boss slapping her back. On the latest episode of The MMA Hour, Helwani shared his thoughts:
"What we know for sure is there is a thousand percent a slap from his wife and then he slaps him back. Then there's like a little bit of a brouhaha and then the clip ends so we're not really quite sure what happens afterwards. But it's clear as day what happens before that. It's a shocking video and it's a disturbing video."

Ariel Helwani and Dana White are not on the best of terms. The UFC president recently went on Paddy Pimblett's podcast and trashed the host of The MMA Hour along with the Scouser.
White and his wife have issued separate statements regarding the incident and have apologized for it. It is also evident that there was a lot of alcohol involved during the altercation which could have led to it.

Ariel Helwani predicted that Dillon Danis would pull out of the fight against KSI
Dillon Danis has pulled out of his boxing fight against KSI because he feels unfit and underprepared per 'JJ's' manager Mams Taylor. Following the news of Danis pulling out of the fight, Ariel Helwani reposted a video of him from earlier this year where he spoke about the fight between the former UFC fighter and 'The Nightmare.' Helwani also guaranteed that Conor McGregor's former training partner would pull out:
"Dillon Danis first of all, I'm setting the line at minus nine thousand, fight doesn't happen, Dillon Danis vs. KSi. This feels like a total farce of a fight. KSI is actually a very popular guy, I don't even know why he's entertaining this."
He went on to call Dillon Danis the 'wet fart' of the MMA world because of all the stunts he pulls. From confronting Nate Diaz outside the MSG, to throwing coffee on KSI during a Misfit x DAZN event. Helwani believes Danis does all this just for attention and it ruins the name of the MMA world.
