Fight fans recently gave their take on Sean Strickland's rant against Jon Jones, slamming the UFC heavyweight champion for his past troubles with the law.

Earlier this week, Strickland questioned Jones' sexual inclinations by arguing that 'Bones's' troubles with the law are a result of him still being in the closet.

In a follow-up post, 'Tarzan' reasoned that it is "fair game" to bring up Jones' past as the latter had committed a plethora of questionable deeds. Strickland wrote:

"Let me tell you even if that wasn't Jon Jones, he is always fair game to make fun of, don't feel bad. Guy smacked his wife, hit a pregnant woman, negligent discharge, fair game. You can't go hard enough on that man, enjoy lmao. Goodnight lol."

Stricklands' post has left fight fans divided, prompting many to flood his comments section with their opinions.

"Sean is speaking FACTS today."

A few others were also critical of Strickland's assessment.

@RichardAshmor17 opined:

"People who live in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones, Sean. You're no saint yourself after all."

When Jon Jones slammed Sean Strickland for comments on Navy SEALs

Earlier this year, Jon Jones criticized Sean Strickland for his viral Instagram rant in which 'Tarzan' downplayed the Navy SEALs' fitness by claiming that they couldn't survive his training regimen.

In the video, the 33-year-old can be heard saying:

"I don't think that one f**king Navy SEAL who could survive a week of training with me. I am kind of sick of seeing it, because you guys think you're bada**, train with me for a week. I'll show you what's up. I'll break you."

The UFC star's comments didn't sit well with former SEAL Jimmy Watson, who took to Instagram to remind the fighter that he and his comrades engage in actual warfare as opposed to 'Tarzan' who fights in a cage for money.

Jones commented on Watson's post, noting his disappointment with his fellow fighter's comments:

"I'm actually disgusted to be an MMA fighter right now. What a dumb thing for Sean to say."
