Conor McGregor gives 3-word answer to fan who asked about his UFC return

Conor McGregor had an epic reply to a fan asking about his UFC return.

Commenting on McGregor's recent post, a fan asked the Irishman about his return somewhat impolitely. The Twitter user also tagged Jon Jones, voicing his impatience about the delay in the former light heavyweight champion's return as well.

McGregor seemed to be on top of his Twitter game with his three-word reply. 'The Notorious' wrote:

"Whenever I want."

McGregor's reply can be deemed befitting considering his personal achievements and his contribution to the sport. While it's been more than a year since he's been out of action, 'The Notorious' is unlikely to face any issues returning on his own terms.

McGregor is currently set to make his Hollywood debut in the remake of the '80s classic Road House, starring alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. While the former UFC double champion has kept fans updated with training pictures and videos, there has been no timeline specified for his return.

McGregor's management recently stated that fighting continues to be the Irishman's priority, but further delayed his potential return to next year.

Leon Edwards isn't ruling out a fight against Conor McGregor

While Conor McGregor has been on the sidelines for over a year, there seems to be no dearth of high-caliber opponents willing to face the Irishman.

The Dubliner has expressed an interest in a move up to welterweight, calling out former champion Kamaru Usman earlier this year. With Usman now dethroned, even the new welterweight king Leon Edwards is open to a fight against McGregor.

However, Edwards claims that might be too big for 'The Notorious' as he hasn't faced a natural welterweight before. 'Rocky' said in a recent interview with James English:

"It's a possibility. I'll be too big for him. I'm like a natural welterweight, I don't think Conor's fought like a natural welterweight. Every time he fought at welterweight, it's been like a lightweight going up or he's never been like a welterweight. Yeah, it is a possibility."
