Conor McGregor was filled with pride as he witnessed Ian Garry's spectacular performance against Song Kenan at UFC 285. The 25-year-old picked up his fourth straight victory, extending his undefeated UFC record to 4-0 (11-0 overall).

Despite his impressive display, Garry had to overcome some early adversity, particularly in the first round. 'The Future' pushed the pace from the opening sequence, hoping to close the distance and land a seminal blow on his opponent.

During one such attempt, Garry was on the receiving end of a vicious counter-left hook that dropped him.

Kenan came out on top, landing powerful blows, but Garry remained patient. The Irishman quickly analyzed the pattern in Kenan's game and exploited it in the third round.

Ian Garry evaded the counterpunch deftly in the third round, having learned from his initial mistake. He returned fire with a flurry of punches that stifled his opponent. Garry subsequently walked away with a TKO victory at UFC 285.

Ian Garry celebrated his victory by performing the 'Billionaire Strut,' which was made famous by fellow Irish MMA star Conor McGregor. 'The Notorious' was impressed by Garry's display and reacted to the victory on Twitter. He wrote:

"Ian Garry you little DAISY!"

As a young Irish MMA fighter, it is natural for Ian Garry to look up to Conor McGregor. Ireland's prominence in the sport is in large part due to McGregor, who paved the path for future generations of Irish athletes.

Conor McGregor, on his part, has shown Garry support since the day he made his UFC debut. He was also spotted cheering 'The Future' backstage at the UFC 285 ceremonial weigh-ins.

Garry spoke with Laura Sanko following his win at UFC 285. Garry responded to McGregor's tweet by explaining why he got a daisy tattoo on his right arm:

"I've got the tattoo of a daisy because of that man [Conor McGregor]. I've had a f**king wild life... the last few years. It's been incredible. When I fought at Madison Square Garden [UFC 268], I was 23 years of age, and that was my UFC debut. I got a step back finish, which is exactly what Conor did to Eddie Alvarez [at UFC 205]."

Garry added:

"He commented on Twitter [following Garry's victory at UFC 268], 'Ian, you f**king daisy.' I always look for, 'What can I do to represent this whole moment?'.... And I was like the person who inspired me, motivated me to be here called me a little f**king daisy, so I've got a little f**king daisy in my right hand."
