Bo Nickal improved his professional MMA record to 6-0 at UFC 300 on April 13, 2024 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nickal took on Cody Brundage on the main card of the historic event, and emerged victorious via a second-round submission.

Nickal has had a lot of hype surrounding him ever since he made his UFC debut, and his performances have proven that he truly is something special.

However, he is relatively inexperienced in MMA, which is why former UFC champion and pound-for-pound great Henry Cejudo believes that fighting established contenders too soon may prove detrimental to his career, particularly in the long run.

Speaking on a recent episode of Pound 4 Pound with Kamaru and Henry, Cejudo said:

"I tell you what Bo, don't put that pressure on you if you're disappointed in your performance because, quite honestly, I do believe you could be a future champion at 185 pounds, but you are not ready for the top 10. If they put you against big bodies like Marvin Vettori who have one, good jiu jitsu, big dudes and can also wrestle, even a guy [like] Paolo 'Borrachinha' he's not quite ready for the top 10."

Cejudo went on to add that it is imperative that Nickal gain some more experience in fighting both three rounds and five rounds, and that he should ease in to fighting the top of the division.

Bo Nickal expresses his WWE aspirations

Nickal is known for his wrestling pedigree and background, and he has taken the world of MMA by storm. He has dominated his way to a 6-0 professional MMA record, and is yet to go the distance, having finished all of his fights in one way or another.

Recently, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to outline his aspirations to compete in professional wrestling, and singled out the WWE's Wrestlemania in particular.

He wrote:

"Watching @WWE Wrestlemania tonight. Definitely getting in there at some point in my career."

Given the fact that the WWE and the UFC both come under the same organization, this may very well come to fruition.
