Even with his current success as the ONE bantamweight MMA world champion, Fabricio Andrade continues to sharpen his martial arts skills as he aims to become a well-rounded fighter.

Since settling in Phuket, Thailand, where he now trains with the famed Tiger Muay Thai team, ‘Wonder Boy’ has added Muay Thai to his training regimen.

Andrade openly talked about this in his latest interview with The MMA Superfan, where he revealed that he is happy with his current status with the team.

The Brazilian champion stated:

“Yeah, I have a Muay Thai coach I have been working with him since I joined Tiger Muay Thai so he knows a lot of my game, my style, you know, and we have very good sessions on the pads and there’s this sort of good connection with him too. I've been working with him for all of my MMA fights in ONE Championship.”

Currently, the 26-year-old is preparing for a gigantic clash with ONE bantamweight Muah Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty. The pair will battle for an opportunity to become the latest ONE Championship two-sport world champion.

Andrade and Haggerty will headline the main event of ONE Fight Night 16 on November 3, which will be hosted by the hallowed ring of the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The undefeated champion is expected to bring his power and physicality against ‘The General.’ Andrade hopes to join Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, Stamp Fairtex, and Regian Eersel as the world’s largest martial arts organization’s two-sport world champions.

ONE Fight Night 16: Haggerty vs. Andrade on Prime Video will air live on US Primetime free of charge for existing Prime Video subscribers in North America.
