Former UFC fighter posts his timing after Conor McGregor completes 'find the cat' in 2 seconds

Former UFC welterweight challenger Darren Till might not be part of the promotion’ roster any more, but that hasn’t stopped him from poking fun at Conor McGregor on his social media accounts.

‘The Gorilla’ recently took to Twitter to jibe at the former UFC lightweight champion after ‘The Notorious’ became the latest person to take part in an odd game entitled ’Find the Cat'.

The game, which was posted by Southland Post’s Twitter account on March 29th, involves users attempting to find a small photo of a cat amongst multiple drawings of houses with red roofs.

Since appearing on Twitter, the game has been viewed nearly 9 million times, has received over 4000 likes, and has been retweeted nearly 400 times.

In response to the original tweet, which stated that it took the poster 3 hours to find the cat, Conor McGregor claimed that it took him just two seconds to spot the feline.

“2 seconds it took me.”

In response, Till decided to one-up the former UFC lightweight champion, claiming it took him 1.9.9.9.9 seconds to find the cat.

“Took me 1.9.9.9.9 seconds”

‘The Gorilla’ then went onto reveal the whereabouts of the cat in the picture – essentially ruining the game for anyone who might’ve struggled to spot the white animal.

Naturally, it didn’t take some fans long to hit out at Till’s apparent lack of math skills, particularly when it comes to decimal points. One fan even stated “Darren would you rather face a takedown or a math equation?”, seemingly poking fun at the UK fighter’s wrestling skills, something that had given him problems during his run with the UFC.

When is Conor McGregor fighting next?

Former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor has not fought in the octagon since his loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021. The fight saw him suffer a badly broken leg, landing him on the shelf for an extended period.

'The Notorious' still does not have a date for his return bout set in stone, although we now know who that bout will come against.

Conor McGregor is set to face former UFC lightweight title challenger Michael Chandler in what could be a pivotal fight for both men. Prior to their clash in the octagon, 'The Notorious' and 'Iron Mike' will coach against one another on the 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter, which is set to air between May and August.

Given this time frame, it's probably fair to assume that McGregor's big comeback fight will take place in the Fall of 2023, at an event yet to be determined.
