Trash-talking extraordinaire Sean Strickland has taken aim at Jon Jones in one of his latest social media posts.

In a recent post on X, 'Tarzan' speculated that 'Bones' was "in the closet" owing to the latter's repeated instances of questionable behavior. Jokingly sharing his support for the reigning heavyweight champion, Strickland wrote:

"You know, it would make sense that Jon Jones is in the closet. Addiction, violence towards women, reckless behavior. Just wait [for] the moment Jones starts f**king his kitty/men openly he's going to be a decent person for the first time in his life Imao. I support you man."

Strickland didn't stop there and continued his onslaught on the UFC legend by responding to fan comments on his post.

Replying to a netizen who noted his concern for Strickland about a vicious rebuttal from Jones for the joke, the former middleweight champion stated that it would be one of the only times he'd seek the assistance of a firearm.

Strickland (28-6) is set to face Paulo Costa at UFC 302 on June 1 at the Prudential Center in New Jersey. A win against 'Borrachinha' will put the American back in the title mix.

When Sean Strickland slammed "fake" Jon Jones

Jon Jones' string of violent behavior and run-ins with the law has left Sean Strickland with a poor opinion of the MMA legend.

During a podcast segment on his YouTube channel, 'Tarzan' labeled Jones "fake" and claimed that the former light heavyweight champion was disingenuous:

"Jon Jones is a bad motherf**ker dude... I really like Jon Jones, I am authentic. My only thing with Jon Jones is he's just a fake motherf**ker. Didn't he hit a pregnant chick and break her arms and drive off or some sh*t?... So what f**ks me off is [Jones] is like, 'Oh no, god loves me.' Like no dude, you are a piece of sh*t... I just want him to own his sh*t and then people will accept him."

Jones has had numerous run-ins with the law. Most recently, in 2021, he was taken into custody on charges of domestic violence and battery after his fiancee, Jessie Moses, called the police on him. This was just hours after he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
