Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will have all the attention on May 18, but Mark Chamberlain made a strong case for owning the night's best performance. In the third fight of the night, Chamberlain made quick work of Joshua Wahab, knocking the Nigerian out cold in the first round.

With just under a minute remaining in the round, Chamberlain put Wahab down with a short left straight. Wahab would barely survive the count but upon resuming the fight, 'Thunder' would quickly push his opponent against the ropes and unleash a fight-ending combination.

The official stoppage came at 2:42 of the first round with Chamberlain folding Wahab face-first into the canvas.

However, shortly after the fight had ended and the adrenaline had settled, both sides expressed concern for Wahab, who remained down for several minutes. Upon rising to a seated position, the event physician would bring oxygen into the ring to aid the struggling 26-year-old.

After sitting in his corner for a few minutes with the oxygen mask on, the additional air would be enough to support Wahab through safely exiting the ring.

In the biggest win of his career, Chamberlain improved his professional record to 16-0. The southpaw would also record his seventh first-round knockout win at 25 years of age.

Wahab dropped to 23-2 as a professional while now having lost two of his last three fights. After suffering his first career defeat to Liam Dillon in 2022, the loss to Chamberlain would be Wahab's first time on the losing end of a knockout.

To the point of their fight, Chamberlain recorded the quickest win of the event and the second knockout of the night. Chamberlain followed Davis Nyika and Robin Safar as victors of the evening with five fights set to commence after him, including the heavyweight title fight main event.
