Conor McGregor was quite busy on Twitter earlier today. From lashing out at UFC color commentator Joe Rogan to outlining his plans for the next calendar year and hurling massive accusations at arch-foe Khabib Nurmagomedov, 'The Notorious' pulled no punches while unleashing his fury.

Even though it's been more than four years since Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov locked horns inside the octagon, the animosity between the two megastars lingers on. 'The Eagle' got the better of the Irishman in their hotly contested grudge match at UFC 229, emerging as the victor via submission.

Earlier this week, Nurmagomedov referenced the famous "we're here to take over" quote from McGregor to talk about the dominance of the Dagestani athletes in MMA. McGregor retaliated by claiming that the now-retired fighter has been avoiding the rematch all this while.

In the latest developments in arguably the most bitter rivalry in UFC history, Conor McGregor sounded off on Nurmagomedov for squandering the magnum opus rematch:

"Actually you know what I don’t want to fight the smellbag there are way better fights out there but let it be known the biggest wet the bed in fighting history is what this guy is. Think of the magnitude this fight wound have. Absolute bottler you are. Father gonna slap you 100%."

He further took shots at Nurmagomedov's team and posted a bunch of images from the infamous brawl in the aftermath of UFC 229.

Conor McGregor sounds off on Joe Rogan, calls him a "fool"

UFC color commentator Joe Rogan was on the receiving end of the profanity-laced Twitter tirade that Conor McGregor embarked on earlier today.

The Irish MMA superstar is currently recovering from the leg injury he sustained in his third fight against rival Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. Meanwhile, McGregor is all set to make his silver screen debut alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in a remake of the 80’s Hollywood classic motion picture, Road House.

'The Notorious' apparently took offense at the fact that Joe Rogan was pointing out some illegal strikes that McGregor landed on Khabib Nurmagomedov in their fight at UFC 229.

McGregor shared a voice recording bawling out at Rogan and even called him a "fool":

“That was an illegal knee on the head of a grounded opponent. Shut up, Joe. You little fool, you. What are you talking about? Smash this and smash that. What was smashed was my knee into his f**king eye socket, yeah? Sh*t. 'That’s a knee to a grounded opponent. Call the cops.' F**king tick, you.”
