Alex Pereira trains his aim at Jared Cannonier

In the wake of a decisive victory over Bruno Silva, Alex Pereira declared that he was intrigued by the thought of competing against Jared Cannonier.

Conceding that Cannonier had enjoyed a significant amount of success recently, Pereira admitted that a fight against 'The Killa Gorilla' seemed extremely attractive.

'Poatan' confirmed as much while in conversation with Paul Felder during the post-fight octagon interview:

"Well now the fight is over, you know. I was holding to myself, but any name. I've been seeing [Jared Cannonier] doing a great job, almost in the line for the title. I would love to face him."
