There seems to be a significant difference between UFC featherweight king Alexander Volkanovski's fighting skills and his tattoo-guessing skills.

In a video uploaded to Israel Adesanya's YouTube channel 'Freestylebender', Volkanovski, along with 'The Last Stylebender' was seen guessing the tattoos of MMA fighters.

When Irish superstar Conor McGregor's tiger tattoo came on screen, Volkanovski looked befuddled and named Sean O'Malley as his guess.

"Oh f**k! I do know...I'm gonna run out of time. I know this one but I'm tripping right now. Sean O'Malley!"

The story does not end there. 'The Great' also failed to recognize Jon Jones' 'Philippians 4:13' tattoo and claimed the tattoo belonged to Yoel Romero.

Volkanovski is currently preparing for his upcoming superfight against Islam Makhachev in February.

What makes the fight compelling is that both athletes have been running through the competition in their respective divisions.

Volkanovski is undefeated in the UFC with a 12-fight win streak. Makhachev has also emerged victorious in each of his last 11 UFC outings.

To add to that, Volkanovski and Dagestani hold the top two spots in the UFC's pound-for-pound rankings. This showdown at UFC 284 could settle the debate as to who amongst the two belongs at the top of the pound-for-pound rankings.

Daniel Cormier weighs in on Alexander Volkanovski vs Islam Makhachev

Former UFC champion Daniel Cormier has shared his thoughts on the UFC superfight set to take place in Perth, Australia. 'DC' believes that if Alexander Volkanovski manages to get the better of Islam Makhachev at UFC 284, it could count as the biggest upset in the sport.

Cormier then added that Makhachev had the size advantage in the fight and could leverage it to score the victory come fight night.

"In my opinion, [if] Alexander Volkanovski wins this fight, it's the biggest [upset]. I'm telling you, when you get into the details of this matchup, it seems a very hard match for Volkanovski to win... 'Volk' is a very big guy... But that doesn't matter, he's still shorter. Because he's shorter it makes for him - Makhachev - to use the leverage against Volkanovski."
