UFC superstar Conor McGregor is currently coaching season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) opposite Michael Chandler and both fighters seem to be completely engrossed in the tournament.

Recent footage uploaded to the UFC's Spanish Instagram handle, shows both superstars passionately cheering on their respective fighters during a bout.

'Iron' can be seen in orange athletic wear, yelling instructions from the cage side, while McGregor is seen sporting a three-piece suit, pacing near the octagon, encouraging his fighter.

This is the second time the Irishman has been featured as a coach on the show. The 34-year-old made his coaching debut at TUF 22 in 2015 opposite Urijah Faber.

TUF 31 will premiere on May 30 on ESPN. Later this year, McGregor and Chandler will lock horns in the octagon. However, neither a date nor a location has been confirmed for the event.

'The Notorious' has been out of active competition for over a year after suffering a leg injury during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. In comparison, Chandler has been more active, fighting twice in the past year.

Aljamain Sterling details how Michael Chandler can beat Conor McGregor

UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling believes that Michael Chandler has the skill set to defeat Conor McGregor. According to 'Funk Master', all 'Iron' has to do is to slow down the showboating and use all the tools in his MMA arsenal.

During a recent episode of his podcast, Sterling suggested that if 'Iron' mixes wrestling with his already impressive stand-up, he could get the win over the Irishman:

"He [Michael Chandler] just likes to put on entertaining fights and he would just go crazy and do crazy stuff [like] fighting with his hands down... Use your grappling, use your striking, be entertaining, but use your wrestling when you have to... put your hands up."

He added:

"You have a guy like Chandler who can hit like 'Iron Mike' Tyson and at the same time wrestle his a** off if needed... It depends on who shows up... If Chandler comes in game ready, showing that I want to be an actual threat to the throne and really win and not just a red p***y night payday, I think he goes out there and gets it done over Conor McGregor."
