Former UFC fighter Dan Hardy recently slammed Dana White's Power Slap League and even claimed that the majority of the people within the company don't like the show.

The Power Slap League has been subjected to a lot of criticism ever since it started earlier this year. A lot has been said about the safety of the slap-fighting competitors, with many suggesting that it is more dangerous than MMA.

Notably, UFC employees are also working on Power Slap, and according to Dan Hardy, they aren't enjoying it all that much either. In a recent interview with Petesy Carroll on Ariel Helwani's YouTube channel, Hardy compared the organization to Vladimir Putin's Russia, saying:

"The majority of the people within the organization can't stand it either but they just don't feel like they have a choice. You know, it's pretty much Putin's Russia in the UFC right now and like it's just depressing to see all these people that are usually really enthusiastic about mixed martial arts that are carrying this weight of this ridiculous circus of what Power Slap on their side is."

Dana White reveals international plans for Power Slap League following UFC 286

Despite being criticized by MMA purists and the media, the Power Slap League has been pretty successful in its first season, especially on social media.

As such, Dana White is looking to continue growing the show. Speaking about Power Slap's future and how he intends to host international events down the line, the 53-year-old had this to say during the UFC 286 post-fight press conference:

"The numbers are, it's baffling, it's unbelievable and baffling but at the same time when I looked at this thing back in 18 and it had 350 million views coming out of, you know, with the production value that it had everything else. My big question was, 'What would happen if it was done right?' and we found out."

He added:

"Tonight, Frank, who is the president of the company hit me up and said that he's been fielding international calls over the last several days. You know, a lot of people were sh**ting on this thing, watch what we do with this thing in the next two years."
