Robert Whittaker needs to stay disciplined to beat champion Alex Pereira, says Henry Cejudo

Henry Cejudo recently gave his opinion on a potential bout between UFC middleweight champ Alex Pereira and Robert Whittaker.

In the latest edition of Fight Feedback, Cejudo seemed to be in favor of a middleweight title clash between reigning champion Alex Pereira and former champ Robert Whittaker. 'Triple C' is of the belief that 'The Reaper' is a good matchup for the Brazilian due to Whittaker's ability to secure takedowns.

The former UFC double champ stated that Whittaker's ability to remain "disciplined" will prove to be a key factor in determining if he can fare well against the current middleweight champ. Giving his analysis on the potential matchup, Cejudo said:

"As we have the champion with Alex Pereira, I think and I know that this guy...it's a really good matchup for Robert Whittaker. Why? it's because he does have those takedowns and if Israel was able to get takedowns off Alex Pereira then that means those takedowns gonna come into play for a guy like Robert Whittaker."

"But this is the only thing that scares me...the tactics. Will he be able to stay disciplined with an Alex Pereira? Because if he does, I can easily see Robert Whittaker regetting that belt and then you know having a third fight with Izzy. And I think that's how you deal with it."

Zhang Weili should fight Rose Namajunas instead of fighting Amanda Lemos, according to Henry Cejudo

At the recent UFC 281 fight event, Zhang Weili successfully dethroned former strawweight champion Carla Esparza to become a two-time strawweight champion.

Appearing in another video, Henry Cejudo stated that 'Magnum' should be looking for revenge against Rose Namajunas in a potential trilogy fight instead of going for Amanda Lemos. Explaining his thoughts, the former two-division champion said:

"I think the more dangerous fighter for Zhang Weili is Amanda Lemos. I think Amanda can crack 'cause she's explosive. But I think the better fight for Zhang Weili after this fight was maybe getting that trilogy with Rose Namjunas. I think she needs to get that one back, and I think for Rose being gone that long, I think it's only gonna help." (4:17 mark)
