Derek Carr is an American football quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. Football was in his DNA as his family moved with his oldest brother, David Carr after he became a member of the Houston Texans. He was selected by the Oakland Raiders (now Las Vegas Raiders) in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft, with the 36th overall pick. In his first year with the Saints in 2023, he finished the season throwing for 25 touchdowns to just 8 interceptions but the team missed the playoffs. Over his 10-year career, he's also amassed upwards of 39,000 passing yards as of 2024.
