Where most saw an opportunity to get some sleep on the plane, Russell Wilson saw an opportunity to get a workout in. The viral high knees story surrounded the team's arrival in London and set the stage against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It turned out to be only one of a handful of wins that came out of September. While not many are discussing the record, the infamous flight routine came up.

In an interview on Good Morning Football, safety Kareem Jackson revealed his experience on the trip:

"I was obviously flying to London... everybody's on the plane asleep. Pat [Surtain] texted a group message when we landed. He's like, 'Man, did you all see Russ.?' And I'm like, 'Nah. I was knocked out.'"

Will the Denver Broncos finish over .500 for the first time since 2016?

Jackson continued, claiming he took the news in stride:

"He was like, 'He was doing high knees up and down the aisle.' And I was like, 'all right, well, I guess that's what we doing...' That was part of his little routine that he did on the plane. But I mean, Russ is Russ and he's constantly working on his body. Anything to get you going, I guess."

As the 2022 season took a steep nosedive, Broncos fans suffered through one of the most difficult years in team history. After such a high for fans to kick off the year, the fall served as just another year of similar issues. Coming into the trade, the team has struggled to move the ball since 2015.

With Wilson in tow, the offensive troubles continued. Meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks, who received a mortgage-sized payment for the quarterback, marched to the playoffs with No. 3's backup quarterback. Now, as the trade enters a new stage with Geno Smith signing a deal to stick around, questions linger.

Will the team use draft capital to get a signal caller of the future? Will Geno Smith live up to the deal? Will the Broncos quarterback be able to enter the conversation for Comeback Player of the Year?
