The Atlanta Falcons are closing in on sealing another star veteran to add to their defense. According to reports, former Baltimore Ravens star Calais Campbell is finalizing a one-year deal with the NFC South franchise in a bid to make a push for a playoff berth next season.
The veteran defensive lineman now finds himself a new home for the 2023 NFL season. Campbell joins the likes of stars such as safety Jessie Bates, Mike Hughes, and David Onyemata as marque-free agent additions to the Falcons roster.
Other teams who were linked with the defensive end were the Detroit Lions and his former team, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 36-year-old DE will be a force to reckon with on the Falcons' D-Line. In Atlanta, the six-time All-Pro will look to add to his tally of 99 sacks.
