At this point, Patrick Mahomes' family might be just as popular as the Kansas City Chiefs star. While fans often support the quarterback, trolls have often targeted his wife Brittany and brother Jackson. Of course, Mahomes has remained protective over his family.

That being said, multiple controversies have surrounded both Brittany and Jackson. While they can be just trolls at times, some even bring Mahomes into the equation.

Earlier this year, a few rumors hinted at Mahomes asking both Brittany and Jackson to stop attending Chiefs games. Those who follow Mahomes or his family on social media cannot really escape their on-field photos and videos. While Brittany has been a common fixture at Mahomes' games, Jackson has also been present for the majority of his brother's games.

When he heard, Mahomes tweeted his response. Unsurprisingly, the 27-year-old defended his family.

He made sure to call people out, wondering why everyone was making things up.

As per the original reports, Patrick Mahomes sat down with Brittany and Jackson, asking them to stop attending games.

“Ultimately it concluded with him asking them to not attend any games this upcoming season," Rich Ohrnberger reported. "Not surprisingly, Mahomes believes that Jackson and Brittany have become a distraction, and their sideline antics are bad for his brand. A lot can change over an offseason, but for now that’s the story as it was told to me.”

Later, Ohrnberger backtracked, adding that the person who acted as the source was someone trusted. He deleted the original tweet and thread, agreeing to have made an error.
