Is the NFL getting tired of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers? That might be the case. The ultra-talented quarterback was a hot topic in Phoenix during Super Bowl week. This came after his remarks that he's going to consider his future in a four-day dark retreat.
Without a doubt, Rodgers is one of the best-ever quarterbacks to play in the NFL, but he undeniably comes with some problems. His diva personality is a headache for the front office at times, and for Green Bay, who's close to entering a rebuilding period, trading him looks like a viable option.
At least that's what has been speculated in league circles, according to NBC Sports insider Peter King:
"This is not in any way scientific, because there aren’t a ton of NFL GMs and personnel people who hang around the Super Bowl. But Aaron Rodgers starts what he called a four-day darkness period in the pitch dark of a home, alone, today, and there was eyebrow-raising among a few league or team people I brought this up with, the reaction being: I can see why the Packers would consider trading him. Seems like a good person, but he might be more trouble than he’s worth. Not to the Jets."

For the New York Jets, who have already asked Green Bay what it would take to acquire the quarterback's services, getting him would represent a major upgrade. It would give the Jets the best opportunity to compete for the AFC East. But not everybody is as desperate as them.
Which teams might trade for Aaron Rodgers?
Apart from the Jets, another possibility is the Las Vegas Raiders, who might release Derek Carr in the coming days.
The Raiders will open a ton of cap space once Carr is released, which will allow them to go after the Packers quarterback in a trade. They have a roster full of stars, none more important than Davante Adams, who played for Green Bay from 2014 to 2021 and was Rodgers' best receiver.
The Jets' desire (and the cap space available) will be higher and they can make a higher push for the quarterback. It will depend on who's willing to risk more.
