Legendary NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski is currently retired from playing football, but he will be making an appearance at Super Bowl LVII in Arizona. The four-time Super Bowl champion will be present there to try to hit a field goal.

Gronkowski will make that attempt during a live Super Bowl television commercial for FanDuel. Despite being linked with multiple teams, the former New England Patriots tight end will not return for at least this season.

Here's what Gronk said about his cameo at Super Bowl LVII in Arizona:

"How do I not get myself into this? You know, everyone knows I love throwing myself into fun, love trying out new ideas. And obviously I can catch a football, I have over 500 catches in the NFL."

He added:

"Everyone knows I can catch so why not try to kick the football, why not try to kick a field goal and on top of it. I was punt pass and kick champion in the western New York region when I was growing up as well.
"So I love kicking field goals. I used to practice all the time, I actually have kicked one field goal in my life. In high school, I made a 33 yarder, which was pretty awesome. So when this opportunity came to me, I just knew that FanDuel is the number one sports book out there and whatever organization I'm a part of, I like to be part of winners."

Rob Gronkowski is an entertainer both on and off the field, and he is likely to entertain the fans at the Super Bowl with his kicking skills.

As for his return to the league, it won't be a surprise if we see him playing for a team next season.

Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have won four Super Bowls together and the duo could meet each other at the Super Bowl once again this year. The path for Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is tough, but we can never count them out.

Both Brady and Gronk are tipped to team up again next season, and the Las Vegas Raiders are showing interest in bringing them both on board.

Other teams will be interested in Brady's services as well, and it will be interesting to see if Rob Gronkowski also ends up at the same destination.
