"Old and slow" - NFL analyst blasts Tom Brady's toothless and aging Buccaneers

Tom Brady and his offensive unit haven't played well at all this season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This was quite evident last night as they suffered their fourth loss of the season. The Buccaneers were handed a shocking defeat by their division rivals, the Carolina Panthers. The Brady-led offense was only able to score a mere total of three points in the entire game.

The Buccaneers have looked poor this season, and Brady has underachieved as well. Following the loss to the Panthers, Rex Ryan was completely frustrated with the team. Here's what he said on ESPN's GET UP:

"This team is old and slow. And you talk about unwatchable, and they're unwatchable on offense now. They're the slowest team..."

He continued:

"Tom Brady looks like a shell of himself, like we look at even physically, like, his personal life, obviously, is having an effect to like, and I get it. And you know, I don't want to minimize this, but it's a factor. And obviously, it's something but this thing looks like there's no answer because there's no speed on the field"

Tampa Bay are 3-4 after Week 7 and this type of record isn't familiar to a player like Brady. They will hope to turn things around quickly, but so far it looks like they don't have an answer to their ongoing problems.

Tom Brady will go against Lamar Jackson in Week 8

Things don't get easy for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers going ahead as they are set to face the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night this week. The Ravens have played quite well this season, and if the Buccaneers don't improve, they might get blown out.

Tom Brady will go up against Lamar Jackson, and the latter has been pretty good while Brady is still figuring things out with his offense. Injuries have hindered the Buccaneers this season, but a loss to the Panthers is completely unacceptable.

The Ravens are currently 4-3, and they could possibly very easily have been 7-0 to start the season. However, they have developed a habit of blowing double digit leads which has deprived them of that luxury.

This is a big game for both teams, as Jackson has the opportunity to play well against an elite defense. Brady will hope that his offense shows up on Thursday night and puts up some points to give their defense a chance in the game.
