Despite reports of a “comeback,” Tom Brady is enjoying retired life. The seven-time Super Bowl winner traveled to Madrid, Spain, to catch one of the biggest club soccer games in the world: FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid.

Brady, however, did not declare loyalty to either of the two teams. Brady posted on his Instagram before the game, showing him exploring the capital city of Spain and the famed Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid.

The former New England Patriots shotcaller has always been interested in soccer. But his interest peaked after retiring, as he bought a minority stake in the English soccer club Birmingham City in 2023. The 15-time Pro Bowler is also the chairman of the advisory board of the soccer club.

During the 2016 Premier League season, Brady supported underdogs Leicester City. The team went on a historic run to capture the title against the behemoths of English soccer.

Brady congratulated goalkeeper, Kasper Schmeichel, with a video message:

"Hey, Kasper. I hear you're a huge Patriot fan, and I just want to let you know with all the success that Leicester City's had this season in the Premier League, I wanted to let you know you've got a lot of Patriot fans supporting you as well."
