Tom Brady's had a tough year, but many are having a tougher one. According to Dream on 3 via People, a seven-year-old named Dorian is suffering from Leukodystrophy. This leaves him unable to walk or use motor functions. The child's favorite NFL player, however, was able to brighten his day as Brady made an appearance to Dorian in person.

The quarterback made Dorian's dream of one day meeting his idol. Dorian's school took to social media to share photos of the two meeting. The video shows the event that and celebration. It includes a montage of classmates and schoolmates cheering him on and at the end, it shows Dorian being helped into a limo that was sent to take him to see Tom Brady.

Making Dorian's dream come true serves as a bright spot in what has been quite a trying year for the quarterback. Since 2022 began, the trajectory of his life has taken several different arcs on and off the field.

After losing to the Los Angeles Rams in the 2021 playoffs, Tom Brady retired from the game. Brady was only gone for six weeks, but was rumored to be deep in talks with the Miami Dolphins to be brought onboard as a minority owner. However, once the team was sued by Brian Flores (alleging discrimination), that failed to materialize.

Since returning to football, the quarterback has gone on to sign a ten-year deal with FOX to call games for the network. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a slow start to the campaign, and Brady was next in the headlines due to rumored problems in his marriage. Last month, the rumors were seen to be true and Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady got a divorce.

Brady is once again a topic of off-the-field curiosity as he openly invested and was something of an advocate for FTX. The stock has crashed and there are varying reports of how much Brady might have lost. Currently, there is no indication of how much that might be.

For now, the Buccaneers are 5-5 and top of the NFC South. Brady is doubtless hoping to go on a run and end 2022 on a high note.
