Tom Brady's life has been put under intense scrutiny as his career began to hit bumps in the road in 2022. But for all of the focus on his family and absences from football, the quarterback's secret hobby has managed to stay under wraps so far.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the quarterback would sneak off with his kids to a local pet shelter and would volunteer, spending time with the pets at the Humaine Society. Sherry Silk, the manager at the establishment, revealed that he would take his kids there after school:

“He would pick (his kids) up at school, and you’d see his pickup truck, he would pull into our lot and there he was. He would always wear a baseball cap. Sometimes people would recognize him and they would ask him for an autograph; not too many, and I didn’t allow the staff to do any of that. And he just came in and did his thing.”

Will Tom Brady's final job involving the NFL be commentating?

The article also revealed that the former quarterback adopted two Siamese kittens from the same location shortly after retiring on Feb. 1.

The former Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback has said his goodbyes to the league. However, unlike last year, he has already made plans to return to the big leagues. Of course, instead of returning in shoulder pads and a helmet, the quarterback will be returning with a headset.

The former quarterback of the Buccaneers signed a 10-year deal with FOX to call games for the network following his retirement. Many speculated that the quarterback could even be ready for the Super Bowl. The quarterback instead revealed on "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" that he will be holding off on a return until 2024.

This, of course, leaves 2023 open for Brady to do whatever he wants, starting with, seemingly, adopting pets.
