The divisional round of the 2022-23 NFL playoffs is set to serve some tantalizing contests.

The wildcard round of the playoffs saw close contests, as four of the five games were decided by only one score. The San Francisco 49ers were the only team to assert dominance, beating the Seattle Seahawks 41-23. The Los Angeles Chargers were seemingly on course to follow in the 49ers' footsteps and stomp the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they blew a 27-0 lead and lost by a point.

The Miami Dolphins, who were forced to field third-choice quarterback Skylar Thompson, gave the Buffalo Bills an almighty scare, but they couldn't get past the finish line and lost 34-31.

The New York Giants played in and won their first playoff game in six years, beating the Minnesota Vikings 31-24. The Cincinnati Bengals needed a miraculous play from their defense to beat Tyler Huntley and the Baltimore Ravens and advance to the divisional round.

The final game of the wildcard round will see Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Dallas Cowboys at Raymond James Stadium with a trip to Levi's Stadium to take on the San Francisco 49ers on the line.

While there's still one game left in the first round of the playoffs, the NFL has already announced the schedule for the divisional round.
