NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss has three daughters and two sons. His two sons, Montigo and Thaddeus Moss, have both followed in his footsteps and are pursuing football and the NFL.

Thaddeus Moss is a tight end who initially played college football at North Carolina State. But after his freshman season, expressed his decision to transfer, later deciding to attend LSU. He missed his sophomore season due to NCAA transfer rules and then his junior season due to a foot injury.

Thaddeus finally took the field for the Tigers in 2019. Moss had 47 receptions for 570 yards and four touchdowns at LSU. He decided to forego his senior season and enter the NFL Draft.

Montigo Moss is currently a senior wide receiver at the University of Maine. He was a tight end in high school and made the change before playing collegiately. He averaged a whopping 130 receiving yards per game in high school at Fork Union Military Academy, accumulating over 1,000 receiving yards for the season.

This season for the Maine Black Bears, Montigo had 34 receptions for 373 receiving yards and six touchdowns. With another year of eligibity remaining for Montigo, he could catch the eye of many NFL scouts if he continues in this way.

Does Thaddeus Moss play in the NFL?

After deciding to forego his redshirt senior season at LSU, Thaddeus Moss declared for the NFL Draft in 2020. He went undrafted in the draft and was signed by the Washington Commanders (then the Washington Football Team) as an undrafted free agent. He spent the 2020 NFL season on the Injured Reserve list and was then put on waivers in April 2021.

The Cincinnati Bengals claimed him off waivers just three days later. There, he joined his former LSU teammates quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase. But, at the end of training camp, the Bengals waived Moss and then placed him on the practice squad shortly after.

He was primed to make his NFL debut in November 2021 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but injured his hamstring in pregame warmups. After the 2021 NFL season, he signed a contract with the Bengals for the 2022 NFL season. After being waived, the Bengals once again put him on the practice squad but a week later he was waived yet again.

Moss has since worked out with the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts when both teams were looking for tight end help. However, Thaddeus Moss is currently a free agent.
