Bronson Reed: A Brief Biography
Bronson Reed is an Australian professional wrestler currently signed to WWE on Monday Night RAW. His real name is Jermaine Haley. A former NXT North American Champion, Reed is also known for his work with Impact Wrestling and NJPW.
Early Life
Bronson Reed was born on August 25, 1988. His real name is Jermaine Haley and he was born in Adelaide, Australia. Reed had been interested in pro wrestling from a young age and started wrestling professionally during his late teens in Australia only. Speaking of his background, Bronson Reed is of Samoan descent. However, he does not belong to the Anoa'i family which has given names such as Roman Reigns and The Rock.

Professional Wrestling Career
Independent Circuits (2007-2018)
Haley spent 11 years working for Australian circuits as Jonah Rock and J-Rock. He won several championships and accolades before his move to NOAH. Over the past few years, Haley worked for NOAH, PWG, Revolution Pro Wrestling and PROGRESS Wrestling before signing with WWE.
WWE NXT (2019-2021)
In January 2019, they signed Haley with the company to work for NXT. He made his debut at NXT Breakout Tournament, where he lost to Cameron Grimes in the quarterfinals. Over the few months, he lost to the likes of Rodrick Stong and Karrion Kross. Haley had a short feud with L.A.Knight
Haley won a Six-man Gauntlet Eliminator match, to become the #1 contender for the North American Championship. On the next night, he lost the match to Johnny Gargano. In a rematch between the two, Haley won the North American Championship inside a steel cage. The reign ended at 42 days when he lost the title to Isaiah "Swerve" Scott on NXT. He lost to Adam Cole in a singles match before being released by the company.
NJPW and Impact (2021-2022)
Haley signed with NJPW and Impact as a free agent. He went by his previous name Jonah under these promotions. He made his NJPW debut by attacking FinJuice. He made his Impact debut at Turning Point by attacking Josh Alexander.
At Impact Wrestling: Hard to Kill, he lost to Josh Alexander in a singles match. He would then go on a winning streak before losing to Tomohiro Ishii. The Samoan superstar announced his departure from the promotion in May 2022.
Return to WWE (2022-Present)
Bronson Reed made his return to WWE on the December 19 episode of Monday Night RAW where he helped The Miz chalk up a victory against former NXT star Dexter Lumis in a ladder match. He defeated Dolph Ziggler on the RAW after Royal Rumble to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match for the United States Championship. At the eponymous event, Reed failed to capture the title.
He entered the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania SmackDown but was eliminated by the eventual winner Bobby Lashley. Reed faced Lashley and Austin Theory for the US Championship at Backlash but failed to win.
