CASETiFY’s new line of phone cases are sure to make Pokemon fans happy.

CASETiFY has a reputation for delivering cases that feature elaborate art. Their cases are based on everything from Charlie Brown to Spongebob. This collaboration with Pokemon, though, will have many users feeling very nostalgic.

Pokemon and CASETiFY are joining forces to release a new line of themed cases. These cases specifically showcase pixel art, and the sprites are very reminiscent of designs from Generation IV.

This is also represented in the fact that many of the sprites in the collection are from the Sinnoh region. Piplup, Dialga, Palkia and Arceus will each be getting their own phone cases. They look very similar to how they would show up on the menu or in the PC in the Generation IV games.

The pixel art will be applied to a number of items, including cases for iPhones, Apple Watch bands and AirPod cases.

This is likely being done to capatilize on all of the Generation IV nostalgia that has been going around. Not only were those games remade in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, but they were also paid tribute in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

This new game features a more action adventure feel as opposed to the franchise's typical RPG elements. It takes place in the Hisui region, but it's supposed to be a precursor to Sinnoh. Many landmarks and areas from Sinnoh can be found in Hisui, including Jubilife City, Mount Coronet and the Solaceon Ruins.

The new collaboration with CASETiFY won’t be the first time they have worked together. CASETiFY previously released a line of cases based on the original 151 from the Kanto region. The art featured on those cases seemed to resemble the anime more, though.

The new line of cases will officially be released on March 22 at 1 AM PST. A priority launch will take place the day prior at 9 PM PST.
