The Gaston Rojas, Joe Bradely, and Salley love triangle in Southern Hospitality Season 2 Episode 5

Joe Bradely’s co-worker and VIP manager, Salley, decided to have a meal with him in his apartment. According to him, asking her out on a date was exciting after he had faced hurdles in his past relationships:

“For me to invite a girl to my apartment – this is a big deal for me, I’m trying to impress this girl, clearly.”

After Joe and Sally’s romance was evident in Southern Hospitality Season 2 Episode 5, the two decided to keep seeing each other to develop their ongoing spark.

However, things escalated and tension arose between them when TJ Dinch got to know about Salley’s date. According to TJ, before meeting Joe, Salley was making out with his roommate Gaston Rojas.

Gaston Rojas is Southern Charm cast member Taylor Ann Green’s boyfriend. She confirmed her relationship with him back in October 2023.

TJ confronted Sally and informed Joe about her encounter with Gaston even after Salley disapproved. She explained that nothing happened between the two. TJ was protective about his friends, and refused to believe what Salley said:

“I don’t believe that. I just don’t want to see my best friend and someone that I love and care about get hurt.”

Meanwhile, Joe was heartbroken on this revelation:

“I feel like an idiot... this is the sh*ttiest feeling I could imagine.”

Southern Hospitality Season 2 Episode 5 recap: James Kennedy’s advice for Maddi Reese

In Season 2, Episode 5 of Southern Hospitality, fans saw Maddi Reese looking forward to a new career opportunity. A club manager and server at Republic Garden and Lounge, she wants to pursue a successful career in the music industry.

After this episode aired on January 11, 2024, viewers discovered that Maddi is ambitious about making a name for herself in the music industry as a DJ. In a confessional interview, she revealed:

“My dream is to become a big-time DJ… so, to open for James Kennedy, a killer DJ from L.A. who has a huge following. Like I’m one step closer to getting there.”

She was excited to open for James Kennedy, and decided to avail this opportunity of a new gig. After informing Republic's CEO Lea that she wouldn't be available for her shift, she made it clear that she wouldn't let this chance to transform her career go.

When Maddi met James, he asked her about her long-term goal. During this conversation, she felt connected with him and revealed that she struggles to manage her current job and aspirations to become a full-time successful DJ.

“I just like question... Can I have the DJ life and work in the club?”

To which James replied:

“If they're both meant to work out, then that’s what will happen. But you definitely got to put 100 percent in and be fully dedicated to it.”

He encouraged Maddi to find a happy medium in her life.
