5 possible ways WWE could make this the worst WrestleMania ever

WrestleMania is one of those rare pay-per-views that usually break or make the creative team of WWE. This year in particular will be a test for the writers who have been struggling to keep the fans happy throughout the year thanks to some idiotic bookings. They even was seen scrambling to put together a good card for WrestleMania and had to make Daniel Bryan pull off a potential double duty to keep the fans silent till the event finally arrives. But keeping the energy levels of the fans till the curtains fall will not be an easy task. There are a lot of traps that the WWE could easily fall into and make WrestleMania a forgettable one rather than a memorable one.So here is a look at those potential decisions that could make the thirtieth anniversary edition of WrestleMania the worst from the lot.

#5 Making a veteran win Andre the Giant Memorial battle Royal

Hulk Hogan’s announcement of that Battle Royal for WrestleMania was something exciting because it opened an opportunity for the entire irrelevant wrestlers to find a place in the WrestleMania match card.

Apart from that, it is a bigger opportunity for WWE to provide its rising stars a big push. Stars like Cesaro, Big E, Dolph Ziggler or Alexandre Rusev can be in the limelight with a win and could give them the setting for a great push post-WrestleMania.

However if the company decides to give someone like Big Show, Mark Henry, Sheamus or Alberto Del Rio a win, that whole point of the battle royal will be wasted.

These veterans will have no benefit whatsoever from the win while the youngsters could flourish. Making one of the veterans win will just be a shortcut to disaster.

#4 Making Hulk Hogan Wrestle

Well Hogan is one of the biggest stars in the business and still has that star quality which makes other drool.

However, Hogan is well past his wrestling days but from what we know about WWE, they wouldn’t mind setting the stage for Hogan to wrestle one more match even if it’s a short comedy filled one.

The reason why this wouldn’t work is because Hogan will be made to look like a fool and the company will be calling out that the sport is fake on the biggest stage possible. Though long term fans might be swept away by nostalgia, the newer ones might find no reason in an old man working it out in the ring.

Thus instead of making this Hogan’s bow out moment, it would have the potential to overshadow everything he done in his career with one stupid move. However, short term involvement in any match would be okay but anything beyond that would just make the fans sleep on their chairs.

#3 John Cena beating Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt is simply the hottest youngster that WWE has at the moment. They have been protecting him from his debut and giving him feuds with the top stars in the company.

All that came down to this feud with John Cena which could stamp Bray’s place in the top of the mountain. But instead of giving a torch passing moment, WWE could end up doing what they do best: giving John Cena a win.

A loss against Cena will literally destroy everything that the company has been building till now and Bray’s character will no longer have the impact that he used to have.

Meanwhile, Cena could have the whole WWE universe against him as they will realize that the company is not going to make him fall anytime soon.

Making Bray win the match will give the company a gem for the future while the other result will give them something which they would not like to remember any time soon.

#2 Shield stays intact

The breakup of Shield is one of the most anticipated moments and there won’t be a better stage to pull that off than WrestleMania itself.

However, the WWE seemed to have taken a deviation from the intended destination when they gave the Hounds of Justice a face turn on SmackDown. From the looks of it they are headed for a six man tag team match against Kane and the New Age Outlaws which is pretty much average.

This average could be made extraordinary if the writers add a twist in the end and make the Shield break up after any of the member turns and joins Kane. That will set the tone for the Shield breakup angle to dominate the main event scene after WrestleMania.

But if WWE decides to go the other way, Shield will have no impact whatsoever on WrestleMania after an impressive year and the company will also have to do the honor on a B rated pay-per-view making it less impactful.

#1 Triple H wins against Daniel Bryan

Have you ever seen fans go out of a big pay-per-view right in the middle of the show?

Well you might be lucky enough to see that if Triple H gets a win over Daniel Bryan and get himself into the main event to challenge Randy Orton and Batista for the title.

The only things that the fans wants to see is Daniel Bryan get in the ring and wrestle his heart out and it was this same emotions that urged the company to make Bryan do a potential double duty.

The prospect of Bryan headlining WrestleMania and possibly winning the title is the only thing that will keep the fans on their seats till the end of the show.

And if Bryan is given an early shower thanks to a Triple H win the WWE would witness the fall of an empire that failed to satisfy its loyal followers. Bryan is the guy that will hold the pay-per-view together and making him lose will be the worst decision that WWE could ever do.
