WWE WrestleMania 32: 5 Superstars who deserve better after Fastlane

The Samoans did not get a chance to prove at Fast Lane

Bray Wyatt deserves so much better from the WWEFast Lane 2016 is in the books and the next pay-per-view on the cards is the grandaddy of them all – WrestleMania 32. The plans for Mania have already started shaping up as we now have three blockbuster matches scheduled for the event – Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar (No Holds Barred- Street Fight), The Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon (Hell in a Cell match) and Triple H vs. Roman Reigns (WWE World Heavyweight Championship). As far as the WWE is concerned, Fastlane was not up to the mark with the company having no major surprises to offer. With almost all the major stars booked for the show, we are left with other potential stars who could add a lot of beauty to the most picturesque event of the year. The guys we list here have not competed at Fastlane but they surely deserve a slot at WrestleMania 32, which they will get without a doubt. As part of this slideshow, let us have a look at 5 such stars that should be booked for the big night on April 3rd –

#5 The Usos

The Samoans did not get a chance to prove at Fast Lane

Last year at WrestleMania 31, The Usos took part in the pre-show in a Fatal-4-way match for the Tag Team Championship. The momentum isn’t on their side right now but they have proven time and again that they are capable and deserve chances.

Now that there are many tag teams on the roster and none except New Day being too effective, there is no harm in giving these Samoans some momentum heading into WrestleMania 32.

WWE could repeat something similar to last year and have a tag team bout involving the best teams on the roster and The Usos could surely be a part of that mix. By the way things are going, Usos could go up against the recently turned heels in the Dudley Boyz. How does a tables match sound?

#4 Rusev

The Bulgarian needs a proper storyline heading into WrestleMania 32

It was a little surprising that Rusev was not part of the Fastlane match card but we could surely see him for the prestigious PPV in WrestleMania. Rusev carries a lot of energy on any given day and plays his heel role to perfection.

With Kevin Owens holding the IC title, it would not be surprising if WWE looks to book Rusev against Owens. Kalisto is yet another option the WWE could go with as he was impressive as the US Champ.

The only thing that has to be seen is whether WWE chooses another route, possibly a tag team title feud with the New Day. A Twitter feud is underway between the New Day and the LON, so maybe, that is what the WWE is eventually going with.

#3 Sheamus

This Irish man loves to fight

Sheamus has been a top star in the company for quite a long time. He turned heel last year and has been pretty impressive in that gimmick, constantly doing his job of drawing heat and for a brief period, in putting Roman Reigns over.

He went on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series 2015 by cashing in his MITB contract, only to drop it to Reigns, that points to some serious problems when it comes to booking Sheamus on the long run.

The story-lines involving Sheamus with the ‘League of Nations’ are taking him nowhere and a potential star like Sheamus should not be wasted this way. It is high time the company realizes the need to give a big push to Sheamus before WrestleMania 32.

A possible feud with the New Day could be great if WWE don’t book to near irrelevancy.

#2 The New Day

Clap for your two-time champs and feel the power

A couple of nights ago, we witnessed The New Day attend the talk show hosted by Edge and Christian. Promotion-wise that would boost the ratings of the show but you can’t afford to keep your tag team champs idle in a PPV.

This is the most entertaining faction in the company today and they deserve a match at every PPV.

No doubt they would be defending their titles at WrestleMania 32, but it only looks impressive if they go through a very good story-line on the road to the big event. There are many potential tag teams and there is absolutely no dearth of talent on the roster today.

So, it’s time to engage them properly and give the WWE universe the best these guys have to offer.

#1 Bray Wyatt

Follow the Buzzards

Bray Wyatt is always a talking point whenever he makes an on-screen appearance. Wyatt's buzzards lost against the titans of the WWE at Fastlane – Big Show, Ryback and Kane – that was a booking blunder on WWE’s part. Bray stood by the side of his family members but didn’t take part in the match.

This is expected but that did not appeal many. He could have joined the match instead of Erick Rowan but he chose to watch their back.

Bray Wyatt faced the Undertaker last year at Mania and you can’t expect someone like him to be out of the WrestleMania card. This guy has the potential to draw crowds to the arena, but the WWE have dropped the ball on him and a feud with Lesnar was just a big disappointment. While Lesnar has an awesome feud with Dean Ambrose in the making, what does WWE do with Wyatt is to be seen.
