WWE WrestleMania 32: Will Shane gain control of Raw even if he loses?

23-1?

Will this be the scene on the RAW after WrestleMania?Shane O’Mac returned to Monday Night Raw on February 22nd to a thunderous reception by the WWE universe. His return came at a much needed time when WWE ratings were slipping and #CancelWWENetwork trending throughout twitter after the debacle that was Fastlane. The Authority storyline has gotten stale and repetitive and Shane brought about a much-needed change. When Shane O’Mac turned up out of the blue and asked for control of Raw, the crowd went berserk. But Mr.McMahon had other plans for Shane and put his son in a match against The Undertaker at Wrestlemania and to tilt the odds in Undertaker’s favour even more, the match would take place in Hell in a Cell. With Wrestlemania less than 3 weeks away, the WWE universe is pondering the different possible outcomes of the match and we give you the most likely of the lot.

#1 Undertaker wins

23-1?

This is the most likely outcome if Shane is only back for a short period of time and is not here to stay. If that is the case, WWE creative will have to come up with something fresh and new because a continuation of the Authority storyline will make the fans lose interest altogether in the show.

Also, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H have been advertised for the post-WrestleMania editions of Raw while Shane McMahon’s name doesn’t feature in any of them. If this is any indication, then the Deadman could indeed walk out of WrestleMania with his hands raised.

#2 Shane McMahon wins clean

Would Shane O’Mac do the unthinkable?

Though unlikely, this remains a possibility. With his legendary streak already broken, The Undertaker losing at Wrestlemania is not a shocker anymore. Plus, the Undertaker does not have much to lose at this stage whereas Shane McMahon winning gives rise to a fresh new storyline which is much needed at present.

But Undertaker jobbing to someone who is not even a full-time wrestler and is not exactly in his prime would be a taint to his legacy. A desirable scenario is if WWE Creative found a way to make Undertaker win as well as give Shane O’Mac control on Monday Night Raw.

Have they already done this very cleverly?

#3 The twist

Vince said something on RAW that may have given away a spoiler on the eventual outcome

As I was watching Monday Night Raw on Feb 22nd, when Shane returned, one thing that struck me when Vince was announcing his stipulation was that he never really said that Shane McMahon had to ‘win’ at Wrestlemania. Indeed, what Vince McMahon said was, in order to get control of Monday Night Raw, Shane had to “..have one match, one night..” with an opponent of his choosing at Wrestlemania, which turned out to be the Undertaker.

Maybe Shane will come out on the Raw after Wrestlemania and show this clip to Vince and say that he fulfilled his part of the verbal agreement and that means he is in charge of Monday Night Raw.

The same can be checked in the below video at 5:40.

Another recent accidental revelation by WWE was when one of the Raw shows after Wrestlemania was advertised as Monday Night RAW vs WWE which points to Shane McMahon getting control of Raw.

It is also possible that Vince McMahon’s words were just an accident and have no special meaning attached to them. All we can do is wait and watch.

Do comment and let me know what you feel about my speculation.
