5 Most anticipated Wrestlemania 31 moments

The excitement is palpable. Wrestlemania is just 8 days away. 8 days! That means, it’s going to be a celebratory week. A go-home Raw show which is sold out, a go- home show on Smackdown, the many Wrestlemania diaries, the Hall of Fame ceremony, Wrestlemania and finally the Raw after Wrestlemania. All of this promises to be spectacular and they have rarely, in the past couple of years, disappointed. Wait for nostalgic pictures and Hall of Fame speeches but more than that wait for the extravaganza hold your attention for a long time to come. Wrestlemania brings forth some moments which may only be exclusive to Wrestlemania.Here are the five most awaited moments from this years Wrestlemania-

#5 Undertaker\'s Resurrection

What more can be written about this ‘undead’ icon who’s known as The Deadman.

The Deadman will come walking that elaborate Wrestlemania ramp on march 29th to face another man with an elaborate entrance. This will be Undertaker’s first appearance in a year. The last time we saw him, he walked away after shocking the whole wrestling community. The moment was surreal but the power of that moment represents what pro-wrestling is all about. His streak ended and that was devastating.

But Undertaker making that Deadman entrance will never get old. And come Wrestlemania, despite all the hype, people will pay utmost attention.

#4 Sting\'s entrance

Everytime Sting has graces a WWE arena, it has always sent fans into a frenzy. Arguably, he’s the strongest booked character on the Road to Wrestlemania and rightfully so. Sting has made his debut after 14 years and he competes in his first WWE match at the grandest stage of them all. Expect a grandiose entrance for the man named Sting. And a lot of fireworks as that Wrestlemania arena will house a tremendous amount of hardcore fans from all over the world. It’s going to be an air filled with nostalgia. An emotional high, overall.

#3 How well will the ladder match play out

The ladder match at this years Wrestlemania is one of the most anticipated matches as it has hardcore favorites like Ambrose,Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, Barrett and Harper competing for the prize. Add in an intriguing character like Stardust and a hilarious character like R-Truth and it provides quite a great concoction.

A few months ago it seemed clear that Ambrose will be the new champion but with a diversity of superstars added, it has become all the more unpredictable and add to that the anticipation of having a long term feud between Bryan and Ziggler and that’s enough to get any fan excited.

#2 NXT Taking over?

The Andre The Giant battle Royal is important precisely because it will showcase the next superstar WWE aims to push. Cesaro won it last year and started his year on a high note only to falter in the end thanks to the higher ups thinking that he doesn’t have the ‘IT’.

And now, this year, unpredictability looms as to who will win. Will Mizdow win by eliminating The Miz? Or will an NXT star make their way and steal the show and win the prize?

It’s going to be chaotic but it has all the makings to be something to remember.

#1 The Main Event

Brock Lesnar’s contrat cliffhanger has made the main event a cliffhanger in itself. While the Roman Empire seemed all set, the negative fan reaction has led to a lot of damage control. And then there is the looming cash-in by Seth Rollins and there we have quite an intriguing main event storyline. The logic making argument is to put the title on reigns and then if he faces a barrage of boos then have Rollins cash in on the Raw after Wrestlemania and then begin the feud between these former teammates, who for emotional investment into the storylines may still be brothers at war for the fans.
