WWE Hell in a Cell 2014: 5 Matches that the fans deserve to see

After a dismissive Night of Champions, WWE has been keen to building up unpredictable storylines heading into Hell in a Cell. Many related and unrelated storylines has been brewed well so far but none of them has been transformed into matches for the pay-per-view.There are still a lot of spots to be filled in the match card with just less than a month away. And when WWE will be doing that honor, two categories of matches would arise: the one the company wants us to see and the others that we deserve to see.The lack of emphasis on the latter category has been troubling the company big time in recent months and it would be no different at Hell in a Cell. So here is a look at those matches that the WWE Universe deserves to see at the pay-per-view.

#5 Dolph Ziggler vs. Cesaro vs. Miz vs. Sheamus

The Title unification has been delayed for a long time now. However, despite the existence of two titles, it is these four wrestlers that are being shuffled every time a title match is to be put up in the midcard.

At Night of Champions, Cesaro faced Sheamus while Ziggler faced Miz. Cesaro has already being named as the No.1 contender for Ziggler’s title now while Miz was seen rubbing skin with Sheamus which means that the challengers were simply swapped.

This week on Raw, there was a triple threat match to determine the new IC champion and the chemistry of Miz, Cesaro and Ziggler seemed out of the world.

Sheamus was left with Sandow while WWE could’ve easily included the Celtic Warrior in the mix. A fatal four way for unifying the titles will make Hell in a Cell more special for sure.

#4 Rusev vs. Big Show

After dispatching Jack Swagger and Mark Henry, Rusev has been fed with another former World Champion in the form of Big Show.

Compared to Henry and Swagger, Show has a much bigger resume. He is a former champion in WCW and WWE’s version of ECW along with being a fan favorite.

During this time last year, Show was running the main event angle against Authority which shows how much regard he has in the company.

Getting a match with someone like Show would be a great deal for the Bulgarian brute and fans would be more interested in seeing a more athletic giant like Show going against Rusev rather than a giant like Henry who solely depends on power.

#3 Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton

Bray Wyatt’s stock in the WWE fell considerable after his feud with John Cena. The storyline he had with Daniel Bryan before Cena came across made Bray a mainstay in the main event picture but WWE apparently pushed him too early.

He not only took multiple losses against Cena, but also took some embarrassing moments in his wins. He was then put into a drab outing with Chris Jericho which proved destructive for both men.

Bray is currently at that part of his career where only a face turn can save him. And if he turns face now, the biggest opponent that he would have is the Authority.

Cena and Ambrose are lacking three men on their side and Wyatt Family would fit in perfectly for a Survivor Series team.

#2 Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins

The much awaited showdown between Rollins and Ambrose happened at SummerSlam under Lumber jack rules. Within the limitation of such a gimmick, the two blew the roof of the arena with their performance.

Right from their days in the FCW, Ambrose and Rollins were known for their sky touching chemistry. It is only sad to realize that they only had one pay-per-view match.

October 26th will be WWE’s ideal opportunity to cash in once again on this golden goose as a Hell in a Cell match between the two would draw crowds.

It is sure to be among the best bouts of the night if booked and would also be the best idea to stamp either of the wrestler’s place in the main event.

#1 Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena

Another Cena – Lesnar match might not sound like a good idea for many but considering how the last one ended, this match should happen at Hell in a Cell.

There is no need for this to be inside a Cell like the previous match as both Cena and Lesnar are capable of pulling of an epic encounter without the help of any gimmick. At SummerSlam, Lesnar dominated Cena while the Cenation leader showed a different side at Night of Champions.

The interference made by Rollins left the story without a definitive ending which means that that loop hasn’t been complete yet.

A well fought match without botched interferences from the Authority is what the fans would love to see from these two big names.
