WWE Hell in a Cell 2015: 5 major twists that could happen at the pay-per-view

The first name that pokes up

Spike DudleyWhat makes a good story? This question has a plethora of answers. Some say that it is the simplicity; some say that it’s the complexity. And others come up with weird answers of their own. But one thing that often works when we tell stories are twists. The unexpected jolt that we get from a surprise though, is second to none. Professional Wrestling fans, as we know, are great lovers of such surprises.Incorporating them into pay-per-views has been an easy route to get into headlines and WWE will have the chance to do the same at Hell in a Cell. There are some excellent twists that the company could pull off at the show and here is a look at them.

#5 Third Member for the Dudley Boys

The first name that pokes up

Dudley Boys will face New Day for the Tag team championships at Hell in a Cell. Although only two superstars will be representing New Day for the actual match, the third member will be a crucial factor throughout the bout. Dudley boys will be well aware about this and they could bring in a third member to level up the numbers game.

The first name that comes up to our mind would be Spike Dudley, but then again, it is a long shot. Someone from NXT would be great as it would be much better than going with the usual names on the roster. WWE can even introduce someone as the new Dudley family member.

#4 A big return

Austin could blow the roof off

Returns are always fun to watch. No matter who it is, whenever a superstar comes back to the limelight after a break, it is something to be happy about. If someone shows up at Hell in a Cell, the feeling wouldn’t be any different. Now, the candidates range from Steve Austin to Spike Dudley, who was mentioned in the last slide.

If WWE does have a plan to make Austin or Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson wrestle at WrestleMania, then bringing them in would make sense. Chris Jericho is another household name. Lana is nearing her returning date as well. So WWE has a handful of options to choose from and they should make the right decision when the time arrives.

#3 Paige costs Charlotte the title

Paige and Charlotte will not need the title to tell a story

Winning the Divas Championship was a dream come true for Charlotte. It was an emotional moment to see Charlotte sharing the joy with her father and it would be even more emotional, if Charlotte drops the title at Hell in a Cell. And if Paige is the reason for the title being dropped, then the Divas division will have a credible storyline.

Paige first ruined the celebration of Charlotte by dropping a pipebomb and if she comes out at Hell in a Cell to cost Charlotte the championship, the battle lines will be drawn. The only downside for this twist will be Nikki Bella as the divas champion. If WWE manages to allow Sasha Banks take the title away, then that problem will be solved as well.

#2 Another Kane under the mask

The character can live on

If we go by the storyline of Seth Rollins and Kane, there are two Kanes. One is the Demon Kane who is running after Rollins and other is the corporate Kane who has no idea about what Demon Kane is doing. The fans are currently under the assumption that there is only one wrestler playing both the character. But what If it was another guy under the mask?

It would be a big swerve to be frank and at the same time, WWE could introduce someone from NXT with big hype. Corporate Kane will be able to continue with his character, whereas the new wrestler could then go on to make a name for himself. Also, when the actual Kane retires, the character can live on.

#1 Undertaker Turns Heel

A heel Taker is good for business

Undertaker has been showing the shades of a heel turn for quite some time now. Ever since he started pursuing Brock Lesnar, the Deadman has been on the darker side and WWE should think about turning Undertaker completely at Hell in a Cell. If Undertaker turns heel at the show, then Lesnar will automatically be projected as a babyface.

Considering that WWE currently doesn’t have a top babyface in the company, Lesnar’s turn would be a blessing. Taker will have a new direction to explore after this and if WWE want, they could book another match between these two for WrestleMania. The match will feel fresh, due to the face-heel dynamic change.
